What Inspired you to become a personal trainer?

I've always thought it was incredible how much the human body can withstand both mentally, and physically! Playing College Athletics really opened my eyes to how incredible we truly are.

What is your preferred way to do cardio?

I like timed high intensity training personally because of my competitiveness and drive.

What is your favorite "bro" workout?

A pumped up chest is nice, however, I love walking around like an upside down dorito after a solid back pump.

What is your favorite hobby/interests?

Fitness is huge in my life. Other than that, I enjoy watching football, fishing, golfing, attending concerts, and spending time out with my wife out!

Favorite cheat foot/health food?

Nothing beats a good cheeseburger and fries in my opinion. For healthy foods, I'm a basic ground turkey on rice with grilled veggies, kind of guy.

What is your biggest fear?

The thought of being possessed by something evil is pretty terrifying!

What is the silliest thing you have seen at the gym?

A woman wearing crocs on a treadmill, or a guy throwing right hooks with 30 lb dumbbells!

Shelley Beall

"When I began working with the trainers at BTR, I was a middle-aged wife, mother of two young children, working full-time, “doing it all” woman, who had neglected her own needs (physically and mentally) for years.  Through the exceptional care, guidance, expertise of the personal trainers, and an emphasis on consistency, especially in moments when I feel “low,” I have become a strong, healthy, and considerably happier person in all aspects of my life.  BTR has helped me completely shift my body composition, I've discovered physical and mental strength that I never knew I had, and I found a group of people that I truly count among my best friends.  I will forever be grateful to BTR and it’s personal trainers for creating an atmosphere in which I have been able to thrive in so many ways."
