Dr. Craig Shifrin has been a healthcare professional for the past thirty years. He had been associated with several hospitals while working in Illinois and is currently applying for staff privledges in Springfield Missouri. Dr. Shifrin is currently licensed in two states, and has extensively worked with individuals who have both acute and chronic health problems and conditions. He has also worked with physically and mentally disabled patients in both diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.

Dr. Shifrin has several years experience with addicted patients, as well as familiar with several procedures such as: neuropsychological evaluations, biofeedback, The Coma Scale, psychological health assessments, as well as has trained numerous paraprofessionals on how to handle crises like cancer, prostate problems and kidney dialysis. He has worked with patients of all ages groups ranging from 5 to 90 years old. Dr. Shifrin utilizes a well-researched and evidence-based approach that includes a holistic and integrated assessment protocol, as well as cognitive-behavioral strategies to help the patient develop a very specific, concrete, measurable and behavioral treatment plan. Besides working with patients who have mental illness, his other patient populations have included: Eating Disorders, Diabetes Types I and II, Chronic Arthritis, Kidney Failure, Cancer, Obesity, Cardiovascular Disorders, Back Injury, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Pain, Asthma and other health conditions. Dr. Shifrin has been trained in a variety of relaxation procedures including hypnosis.
