Jennifer Hale

Jennifer HaleHello all, my name is Jennifer Hale and I am 25 years old.  I live in Springfield with my husband and daughter.  We moved here about two years ago from Northwest Arkansas.  I am a certified personal trainer and exercise specialist.  I have been working for Big Time Results for six months and completed an 80 hour internship with Noah as well.  My hobbies are running outdoors, lifting weights, scrap booking and spending time with my friends and family, preferably outdoors.

I grew up on a farm in Meadville, MO where I had a lot of farm animals and decided when I was thirteen that animals were not to be eaten. So, I became a vegetarian.  It's funny because my parents were upset about my choice and now they are vegetarians.  In high school I was average weight, between 125-130 pounds. When I graduated high school I moved away from my parents to Tennessee for two years and in that time I gained 75 pounds.  I can still remember the look on my father's face the day he came Before to move me and my things back home. It wasn’t until about six months later that I realized that the pain of my past was still beating me and that my life wasn’t going to change itself; I had to change my own life.  I was walking in a park one night and there were street lights around the entire park, so I decided to sprint to one and walk to the next.  I continued that for several weeks and before I knew it I was running around the entire park. I could see the weight coming off slowly. I changed my diet and started noticing an even bigger difference. I used a food and exercise journal to help me track my progresses and about 50 pounds later I picked up a pair of weights and haven’t been able to put them down. Now, I am at my goal weight of 125 pounds and doing what I love best. Losing weight is simple really; you need more calories going out then coming in and you do that through a calorie defecate combining exercise and healthy eating choices. This career that I have chosen is very personal and important to me.

My mother told me once "if you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life". That is exactly how I feel about personal training. My "job" is to help people make life changes; there is nothing better than that. The relationships you build and the changes that are made are absolutely amazing and there is nothing in this world I would rather be doing.
